What is a Chakra?

In Sanskrit, the word "chakra" means "disk" or "wheel" and refers to the energy centers that are in your body.  Certain nerve bundles and major organs all have wheels or disks of spinning energy that correspond to those muscles and organs.

When these chakras are blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra.
